Really interesting blog, appreciated reading your thoughts about your tour. -VSu-
ReplyDeleteInteresting blog, indeed. Anyhow it contains quite a lot of material for insurgents: about the way Finnish contingent work, training etc. As a former intelligence officer, first I was shocked about the blog, but then I read that it had been "hidden" during the operation. Still I would never publish this kind of material. Would be interesting and useful material for the future ISAF soldiers but not for the public.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the feedback! It is in fact the first and only comment on publicity issues that this blog has received so far, even though I encouraged readers to leave their comments (see end of the above post).
ReplyDeleteAs to the publicity of this blog your're probably right, but there's so much information out there. The official blogs of the Finnish and Swedish contingents, for instance (http://www.skja.fi/, and http://www.fs20.se/), give in my opinion even more information about what they do, and no-one has to my knowledge raised questions about their publicity.
Once again, thank you for great blog. It makes a great diary for you and your family to read later on.
ReplyDeleteI still think there is quite a lot of sensitive material. If not exactly military material, at least personal "roasting" with pictures etc. Local authorities would not appreciate it, if they knew. I also consider this blog much more detailed if compared to official blogs.
