Visitors's day came and passed very quickly. In all, the day was a very welcome break in the strenous training both physically and mentally. But as Sunday dawned, it was time to return to the fray. Sunday's themes were: Medical training, more counter-IED, patrolling on foot, and close protection. And as usual, all the time we were wearing the heavy kit. All of us are starting to feel fatigued by now, but there's still four day's to go. The weather was ok, with only a couple of brief showers in the afternoon. In the evening, I still managed to read the sunday paper, which had a big article about Afghanistan, have a swim in the pool, call my band mates, who are playing a gig in Helsinki today, clean both my weapons, have supper, and update my blog. Another 14-hour day. As I've noticed earlier, it's all in a day's work.

That would be me, then.
